  • You're getting it all done.
  • Knocking out your to-do list.
  • Keeping the plates spinning.
  • But underneath that…
You feel like you're white-knuckling your life
just trying to make it to the end of the day.
· · ✦ · ·

Maybe you're going through a big life change that has you thrown off center

  • A job change
  • A relationship shift
  • A move
  • Grief
  • Or a decision you've been circling that you can't avoid anymore
Or maybe it's not one big thing.

Maybe it's smaller moments that stack up throughout the day like:

A vague Slack message from your boss that just says "can you hop on for a quick call?" and your brain immediately starts filling in the blanks

A meeting where you feel slightly off, and then spend the next hour replaying how you came across

A conversation with your partner that feels slightly off, and suddenly your brain is questioning everything

Opening the news or scrolling for a few minutes and feeling your whole body tense

(Let's be honest. In today's political, economic, and social climate, it's hard to feel certain or settled about anything.)

But your nervous system doesn't really care if it's big or small.
Your body will react anyway.

(That might be why you always feel slightly on edge, even when nothing is technically "wrong.")

If you've done the therapy or read the books, but still feel stuck in the same anxiety cycles it's because no one showed you how to interrupt the cycle and that's exactly what I'll teach you.

The gain that will make an undeniable difference is learning how to notice and cope in the everyday moments when your nervous system gets activated.
Sam, LCSW
Hey. I'm Sam.

I'm a full-time licensed therapist (LCSW).

I've spent over a decade helping high-achieving, hyper-independent women navigate anxiety, burnout, and emotional overload. But I've seen a lot of women get stuck.

You've done the work. You've gone back, unpacked it, made sense of it.

But understanding your past doesn't automatically change your response in the present.

So even after all of that… You're still having those same fast, overwhelming thoughts thinking, "I thought I worked through this already" and then you get pulled even deeper into your head and now you're anxious about the fact that you're anxious.

It's not always about your childhood. Revisiting or being aware of your past/trauma is not going to resolve or change your stress responses on their own.

The gain that will make an undeniable difference is learning how to notice and cope in the everyday moments when your nervous system gets activated.

(Because life will keep life-ing! And your body will keep responding.)

Everything I teach comes from both my clinical work and the same practices I've used in my own overwhelming seasons. This isn't influencer advice. It's real, evidence-based mental health work made practical and usable in your actual life.

That's exactly why I'm creating

From Spiraling to Steady

The 8-week small coaching group to help you move through what you're dealing with right now …without shutting down, spiraling, or letting it derail your day.

Every week for 8 weeks, I'll go live weekly (Wednesdays at 7pm ET) for a live teaching, coaching, and Q+A session.

The topics we'll cover will feature everything your therapist may not have covered with you.

Like:

Where Anxiety & Spirals Come From

High-achieving, capable people often miss the early warning signs of 'melting down', especially when perfectionism keeps you pushing past your limits instead of noticing your body's signals.

Map your Triggers + Stress Patterns

Learn how to recognize your patterns in real time so you can interrupt them earlier, regulate sooner, and communicate what you need.

Identify Insecurities and Doubts

Spot the quiet thoughts that fuel your spirals so you can question them, ground yourself, and respond more clearly instead of getting pulled deeper into them.

Mindfulness vs Meditation

Discover why traditional meditation on its own can fail overwhelmed minds and why applied mindfulness works better when your thoughts are racing.

Distress Tolerance & Emotional Capacity

Build the ability to experience distress without spiraling, shutting down, or avoiding. And learn how to embrace the help you've always wanted but have felt terrified to ask for.

Shift from Surviving to Living

Turn everything you're learning into a clear, personal plan YOU can use when stress and spirals show up in the daily grind of life.

Every single session

Each call looks like:

  • A focused teaching so you understand what's happening
  • Evidence based practices and time tested strategies to begin implementing
  • Real examples so you can see how it applies
  • Live coaching so you can watch it happen in real time
  • Space to ask questions about what you're dealing with that week

Each week you'll get a downloadable companion guide with exercises, reflections, and reframing tools to apply what you're learning

By the end, you'll have a complete workbook with everything you've worked through across all 8 weeks.

(P.S. Replays of each call will be available so you won't fall behind if you miss a call)

There's a cost to keep living like this.

  • Losing sleep because your brain won't shut off and noticing the toll it's taking on your energy, mood, and overall health
  • Overthinking at work and missing opportunities to speak up, contribute, or be seen
  • Putting off decisions that would move your life forward because you're terrified of making the wrong decision
  • Holding back in conversations and not saying what you think, then feeling the distance it creates in your relationships
  • Letting one hard moment affect how you show up with your partner, your family, or your your friends for the rest of the day
Imagine instead

Imagine how good it will feel when

  • You wake up in the morning and your mind feels clear, your shoulder feel relaxed
  • You get feedback or a quick note or text from someone and your whole mood doesn't swing with it
  • You have a hard conversation, say what you meant to say and then move on (instead of replaying it at 11pm while brushing your teeth)
  • You can sit in a meeting or conversation and stay present instead of half-listening while your brain runs commentary in the background
  • You have a free hour and actually relax instead of mentally listing everything you should be doing

Within a couple of weeks, you should start noticing

your body feels more relaxed when you wake up

you're falling asleep faster

and your mood feels more even and steady throughout the day

"But, Sam. Why do I need this if I've already been to therapy?"

Honestly, you're exactly who this is for.

You've unpacked your past, you understand where your patterns come from. You can probably explain them really well

But then a moment happens and your body tightens and your thoughts speed up and all of that insight is suddenly hard to access.

This group is about what to do in moments like that. So instead of thinking, "I shouldn't be feeling like this," you know how to bring yourself back to baseline.

Everything I teach comes from both my clinical work and the same practices I've used in my own overwhelming seasons. This isn't influencer advice.

It's real, evidence-based mental health work made practical and usable in your actual life.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT GETTING RID OF ANXIETY.

Take that pressure off.

This is about building capacity to stay regulated or come back to being regulated faster.

Overwhelm does not mean you are weak.

Admitting overwhelm is not giving up.

This isn't a space where we stay in processing loops, trying to figure out why you feel the way you feel.

It's about what to do when it shows up, how to catch it sooner, and how to move through it without losing your whole day to it.

It is the bravest thing in the world to own that things aren't working. And then actually try something different.

You are far more capable than your stress response makes you feel in the moment.

This 8-week group will help you practice coming back to steady, again and again, until it starts to feel familiar.

FAQs

FAQs

Is this therapy?

No. This is a coaching experience led by a licensed therapist. We won't be diagnosing or treating mental health conditions. This is about learning practical skills you can use in real time when anxiety shows up.

I've already been to therapy. How is this different?

This is a place where you can implement and build on the work you've done in therapy. In therapy, you probably learned to understand your patterns already. We won't be working on processing or unpacking them further. We'll be working on the specific actions/solutions to take/use when you catch your anxiety getting triggered or your body shifting into fight or flight. (And learning how to recognize it sooner.) If your mind keeps pulling you back into the same anxious loops after a meeting, a message, or a conversation, and it costs you focus, sleep, or energy, this is designed to help you practice breaking that loop.

Will I have to share personal details with the group?

Only if you want to! You're welcome to listen, learn, and apply without sharing. There will be opportunities for live coaching, but it's not required to have a transformative experience.

What if I can't make the live calls?

All sessions will be recorded and sent out so you can watch on your own time and still get full value from the experience.

What if my anxiety feels really intense?

This space is designed for women who are already functioning in their lives but feel overwhelmed, reactive, or stuck in patterns they can't seem to shift. If you're in a place where you need individualized or clinical support, therapy is the better fit.
